Google recapped an October of AI news: Gemini Enterprise as a workplace front door for agents on company data; Cell2Sentence-Scale, a Gemma-family model with Yale aimed at cancer research; and “Quantum Echoes,” which Google says ran a verifiable algorithm on quantum hardware faster than classical machines.
These are three different claims. Enterprise is a product. The biology model is a research tool others can try. The quantum result is a hardware milestone — impressive if it holds, and still far from a general quantum computer on your desk.
The useful habit is the same as in the lessons: name what was shown, who checked it, and what it does not yet do.
